Update: Fifth body found
WILLEMSTAD - On the coast of Curaçao, four bodies of Venezuelan migrants washed ashore in Curaçao. They were supposedly Venezuelans trying to enter the island illegally. Today a fifth body was washed up at the same spot.
Clothing was also found that does not belong to these five persons. This reinforces the suspicion that more people were aboard the boat that the victims were in. Some of them would have landed safely.
The regional newspaper of Falcon, a coastal province of Venezuela, writes that families in the region have reported a total of 30 people missing.
