St. Maarten Prime Minister in Curaçao for government meetings
WILLEMSTAD -Prime Minister of St. Maarten Leona Romeo-Marlin is in Curaçao for meetings with the government.
Her visit comes after she and Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath had discussions while in Brussels, Belgium, in February. They were both in Europe for meetings of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) of the European Union (EU).
Romeo-Marlin will talk to Curaçao ministers about its bureau for integrity, institutional strengthening, financial management, health care and the relationship with the EU. She will also discuss with Rhuggenaath the reestablishment of structured cooperation and collaboration between the two countries within the Dutch Kingdom.
