Prime Minister visits Vice President Council of State
THE HAGUE – On Tuesday, February 20, Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath paid a visit to Vice-President of the Council of State in The Hague, Mr. Piet Hein Donner.
It was a pleasant and constructive conversation in which the state officials could exchange views on various subjects, including the Committee for Financial Supervision (CFT), the new hospital and a possible ‘government academy’ for (further) training of government officials in the Caribbean.
Furthermore, the possibilities for sustainable economic development on the islands and especially the importance of cooperation between all countries within the Kingdom, were discussed.
Next week, the two gentlemen will meet again to discuss the current issues, this time on tropical soil when Mr. Donner brings a working visit to the islands in the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom.
