One more week to go before the start of the biggest volunteer event in Curaçao
WILLEMSTAD - In the month of March Curaçao Cares organizes CURA DOET, the volunteer action where everyone, groups and companies, during 1 or 2 days roll up their sleeves and do something for someone else. With more than 300 projects distributed throughout Curaçao, this year, the anniversary year, CURA DOET is looking for more than 5000 volunteers to make the organizations, institutions and associations in Curaçao a bit more beautiful, better and happier. Registration is easy and those who are interested can choose a suitable project at www.curadoet.com.
During this last week, CURA DOET encourages everyone to register as a volunteer. Whether as an individual or as a group. Organizations, institutions and associations all of them need a helping hand to realize their projects. Several care homes and/or nursing homes such as Grandinan Dolorita Kontentu and Fundashon Seri Otrobanda use these days to organize an outing for the elderly or to realize a 'beauty' morning for them. Again, schools such as CML Maduro School and St. Joris use the CURA DOET days to, among other things, to renovate their schoolyards, modernize their computer rooms or create an inspiring mural for the students.
During the past few weeks, CURA DOET has organized several popups together with Fun Miles, including during Punda Vibes, to recruit volunteers and to inform them about the event.
A final call to the Curaçao community to once again roll up their sleeves and make the difference together. Together with all volunteers, organizations, institutions and associations, everybody can make of this 5th edition of CURA DOET a success!
