OM demands 15 years against captain
WILLEMSTAD – The Public Prosecution Office (OM) has demanded 15 years of prison against the captain of the boat that hit the cliffs and killed at least five Venezuelans.
That incident took place in January this year. The lawsuit shows that they paid 100 dollars per person for the crossing.
It is not clear yet if the OM will also charge the captain of the boat with human trafficking.
