Meeting ‘Trabou na Kòrsou’
WILLEMSTAD - Thursday, October 25, the WeConnect Foundation and the Representation of the Netherlands in Willemstad (VNW) organize a meeting about work in Curaçao. Under the title 'Trabou na Kòrsou' the question is asked: what is the future of work on Curaçao and specifically, what are the chances of Curaçao young professionals who are mostly educated in the Netherlands?
Various professionals from the public and private sectors address themes such as aging, mobility in the workplace, the challenge of getting good employees and keeping them inside, the potential of Curaçao MBO, HBO and WO trained professionals in the Netherlands and the growth and development opportunities for current staff.
From WeConnect a platform is offered to debate with each other and to coordinate supply and demand. Deloitte Dutch Caribbean addresses the theme 'The Future of Work', IT specialist Ictual on the influence of digitization on work, BearingPoint on the question of how to bind and retain your employees, travel organization TUI focuses on the selection and retention of talented employees. The Ministry of Administration, Planning and Service (BPD) presents its 'Talento' program. The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MEO) will discuss Life Long Learning. Lawyer Mirto Murray gives a presentation with the theme 'The law firm of the future?!'
And recruiter Judith Brekelmans, together with HR Nienke Ingenhoven from TUI, will supervise an interactive session: 'How do you read a CV and how do you write an attractive vacancy text?'
