Master class Dutch Karate experts in Curaçao
WILLEMSTAD - Last weekend was a great experience for the students of the Frans Karate School in Curaçao. Two Karate experts from the Netherlands, Jan de Bruin and his assistant Jan Willem Ruis gave a master class to about 30 karate students.
Jan de Bruin founded the Budokai Tsunami School in 1999. This is a school that propagates the Kyokushin-kai style within karate. This karate style was introduced in the Netherlands in 1961 from Japan by Jon Bluming and later made famous by Loek Hollander in Europe. IBK Kyokushin Nederland is a free organization that works closely with other major Karate organizations.
Jan de Bruin from IBK Kyokushin Netherlands gives the framework and combat training in the Tsunami dojo.
