Gasoline, diesel, water and electricity to become more expensive
WILLEMSTAD – As of Tuesday, January 2, both gasoline and diesel at the gas station will become more expensive. Now for gasoline drivers pay about 1.74 guilders per liter. After the announced date it will become almost 1.76 guilders.
Diesel rises from 1.25 to 1.30 guilders. The price of propane gas remains as it has been since this months. The contents of a large cylinder cost 50 guilders and a small remains 10 guilders.
Water and electricity go up in price as of January 1, meaning this Monday. For example, the basic rate for household use of power is 52 cents per kilowatt-hour. It is now 49 cents. For water, the lowest rate currently charges 7.44 guilders per cubic meter, which will be 7.50 guilders on Monday.
