Curaçao Port Services orders new harbor cranes
WILLEMSTAD – The container harbor operator Curaςao Port Services (CPS) has ordered new harbor cranes. They financial transaction will take place in April next year and the cranes will arrive at the end of 2019.
This is according to an information received from the Minister of Economic Development Steven Martina.
That means a delay of more than half a year. Curaςao Port Services reported last year that there were problems with the quay walls of the Brionwerf where the cranes should be placed. Now it has become clear that the part where the cranes should be installed do not need to be repaired and the order could be placed.
