ConocoPhillips also seizes accounts owner oil refinery
WILLEMSTAD - The American oil company ConocoPhillips has seized the accounts of the government Refineria di Korsou (RDK), Curaçao Refinery, the owner of the refinery.
Premier Eugene Rhuggenaath expects that the same thing will happen with Curaçao Oil Company (Curoil). With the seizure, the Americans want to force PDVSA to pay 2 billion dollars in damages, imposed by an arbitration committee in Paris.
For the time being, the seizure has no influence on the supply of fuel on the island.
