Central Trade Union: ‘Not all trade unions want to cooperate’
WILLEMSTAD – The joint trade unions organized a conference for tomorrow evening to get everyone looking in the same direction.
According to trade union leader Edward St Jacobs of the SSK, the Sentral Sindikal di Korsou, there are a number of bottlenecks and not all unions cooperate to solve them.
He was not able to say which bottlenecks they are. What he can say is that there are certain trade unions that do not want to operate under one common umbrella.
This is the reason why they are organizing a conference. The Central Trade Union will give all the other unions the opportunity to express their concerns. Hopefully, they will be able to solve these internal problems and move on in the interest of their members.
