Appointment Director-General of Kingdom Relations at Dutch Ministry of the Interior
THE HAGUE - H.M. (Henk) Brons becomes Director-General of Kingdom Relations at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The Dutch Council of Ministers has approved the proposal of Minister Ollongren of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment will take effect on 1 July 2018.
Henk Brons has been a director of DG Kingdom Relations since April 5, 2018. He combined this position with the acting director of Kingdom Relations and with his position as representative of the Netherlands in Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten. He will resign these duties as of 1 July.
He previously served as Director General of the Government Information Service at the Ministry of General Affairs and Director of Information at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Henk Brons studied journalism in Utrecht and worked as a journalist at newspaper Het Vrije Volk.
The appointment of Henk Brons was made on the basis of the procedure for the top management group of the General Administration.
